"The delegate of France calls for the right to immediate stop of the Schengen Agreement due to recent terrorism, security branches throughout the country, and France's state of emergency." The meeting about Violent Extremism started off with a BANG with the delegation of France's clause, which was quickly followed by Germany's disagreement. Myanmar followed on to Germany's disapproval by adding: "Boarders going in and out Europe would lure refugees in as well as terrorists, which is a great danger." Other countries such as Turkey, the Netherlands, Libya, and Nigeria were against France's statement as well, but Egypt, Brazil, the U.S.A, the United Kingdom, and Canada all agreed upon France's point of view, therefore passing the clause. After this close had been discussed, the committee veered off-topic onto Libya's clause before the chairs (Keya Karan and Alix Dugré) had the chance to dismiss the chatty delegates.
