BAMUN

Press - What is it?
Behind the scenes of the debates and discussions, the press team works on compiling two newspapers of articles relevant to BAMUN, the students taking part in the conferences, current events, and any other topics they may think are appropriate. The press team consists journalists and photographers. You can pick either depending on your strengths and preferences.
Being a journalist in press team is a great way to improve your writing, learn more about different topics, how to work under pressure, how to juggle newly found knowledge, and how to organize your thoughts into a nicely structured article. However, if writing isn’t your strong suit, photography may be the better option.
Being a photographer during BAMUN can be both fun and difficult. Photographers are in charge of taking pictures of everyone and everything. The photos are then assigned to certain articles and can be accessed on this website through the gallery.
If you would like to get involved in MUN, but would rather not debate, or if you enjoy writing and photography, press is a great option for you. A press member is as involved during BAMUN as any admin or delegate is!

What do they do?
The Heads of Press are in charge of running the Press Team. They assign tasks to journalists and photographers and edit the newspapers published throughout MUNtag and BAMUN. As well as running and working with the Press Team, they work alongside the Heads of Admin and the Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-Generals to set up BAMUN and fulfill any work that is needed before that.
