Admin - What is it?
Admin members play a vital role in the organization of Model United Nations as a whole. As well as working with the Secretary and Deputy Secretary Generals to organize MUN, Admin type up clauses and amendments during debates, and offer help to delegations throughout by delivering messages between the delegates and counting up the votes after each debating period. Some of the most important characteristics needed to be a good admin are to be organized, a good communicator, calm under pressure and a team player as without these traits the tasks will not be able to be completed well.
What do they do?
The Heads of Admin are in charge running their team and organizing the BAMUN conference with the Secretary-General and the Deputy Secretary-General. The Heads of Admin also work alongside the Press Team to help the Secretary-General and her deputies with any tasks.They assign their members to different councils and are ready to take on and fix any problems that may occur during BAMUN and MUNtag.
