BAMUN 

The Economic and Social Council, also known as EcoSoc, holds conferences where different countries debate economic, social and environmental issues such as the financing, integration, and leadership of sustainable development. These conferences also deal with humanitarian affairs and the actions taken to help people who are threatened by various crises. Each year, the EcoSoc council has two chairs and this year’s are Daniel McBride and Pradyot Prakash. In last year’s conference, EcoSoc discussed the controversial issue of compensating terrorist organizations in hostage situations, which led to a very successful debate.
