Delegate - What is it?
Delegates meet in committees to discuss the topics at hand. Each is assigned a country to research, and they debate from the perspective of that country. They are required to follow parliamentary procedure and work together to come up with solutions to globally-impacting problems fit to their designated committee. They may or may not have to argue from perspectives they do not agree with depending on the perspective of the country they represent. These delegates meet weekly in our school to practice their debating skills and parliamentary procedure in a more casual environment.
